The resulting whiskey delivers an enjoyable sip that drinks below its proof. This is in contrast with the rest of the sip which is slightly more traditional, focusing on spice and sweetness. The only fault is the finish, which relies too heavily on its more one-dimensional rye spice characteristic and results in an incredibly lingering heat.
