Since my initial experience with FEW Spirits Bourbon in 2015, the product has come a long way. Aged for 4 years (as compared to a shorter period, not previously specified) and satisfying the more stringent Bottled in Bond requirements than the bottle I first reviewed, this product offers an array of flavors that’s unique with a surprisingly earthy undertone that carries throughout. Complemented by sweeter cherry, cinnamon, caramel, and raisins along with a healthy amount of oak, the flavor profile offers a nice range to explore. It’s still a bit clumsy in its delivery however, and could benefit from further refinement as the distillery continues to hone their curation process. Until then, it’s a solid deal for a unique tasting bourbon at its current price point.
