Gainesville, FL (July 26, 2024) – Two Souls Spirits today announces the launch of their summer 2024 release. This trio of single barrel whiskeys features a wheated bourbon and wheat whiskey from J. Carver Distillery (MN) and a triple cask rye whiskey from Green River Distilling (KY). 

The summer 2024 release is available for DTC sales exclusively online at twosoulsspirits.com beginning Tuesday July 30 at noon EST. All three offerings are non-chill filtered, bottled at full cask strength, and extremely limited in quantity.

2024 Summer Release: 
Two Souls Spirits 8-year Straight Bourbon Whiskey featuring J. Carver Distillery, “Give ‘Em the Wheater” - wheated mash bill, 127.68 proof, 177 bottles ($124.99)
Tasting Notes: Dark orange spice, creamy burnt caramel, vanilla creme brulee, long dry oak and char finish. 

Two Souls Spirits 8-year Straight Wheat Whiskey featuring J. Carver Distillery, “Packin’ Wheat” – 128 proof, 105 bottles, ($114.99)
Tasting Notes: Vanilla cake batter, butterscotch, stewed dark fruit, and leathery antique oak with a lingering warm finish

Two Souls Spirits 5-year Triple Cask Rye Whiskey featuring Green River Distilling, “The Colonel” – finished in used rum and bourbon barrels, 127.9 proof, 149 bottles ($99.99)
Tasting Notes: Rich waves of rum, butterscotch, warm vanilla and baking spices, stewed apples, and a touch of old oak and leather

“Our summer 2024 release features our first ‘distillery spotlight’ in our partnership with J. Carver Distillery,” said co-founder James Estrada. “I was completely blown away by the quality of these barrels when I visited the distillery this March. I knew right away that we needed to release them together and bring as much recognition to J. Carver as we possibly could.” Co-Found Chad Civetti also noted that these are two of the oldest barrels Two Souls has released to date, “Along with our two 8-year ryes from Yahara Bay, these are the oldest barrels of whiskey we have purchased and released. Finding craft whiskey of this quality and age is extremely rare.”

The summer release also includes a highly unique Triple Cask Rye originating from Green River Distilling. "The Colonel” spent a year in new oak, 3 years in a used rum barrel, and finally 13 months in a used bourbon barrel from a renowned Kentucky distillery. “What I love about The Colonel is that you can taste every piece of the whiskey’s DNA,” said James. The rye spice, the sweet rummy notes, the old leathery bourbon - it’s all there. It’s a pour you have to experience.”
