Press Release

AUSTIN, Texas, [July, 28, 2026] — The Musician has been on the front of Still Austin's flagship Straight Bourbon Whiskey label since its inception in 2020. This September, her story gets a new home. Still Austin Whiskey Co. today announced the opening of The Still Austin Quarter, a 15,000-square-foot hospitality destination slated to open September 2026 in the heart of South Austin. A music venue, cocktail destination, and gathering place unlike anywhere else in American whiskey, The Still Austin Quarter is a place for everyone who has ever been moved by a song. It is the physical realization of the story Still Austin has been telling for over a decade.

“The Still Austin Quarter is everything we imagined when we thought about what it would mean to bring The Musician to life beyond the bottle,” said Chris Seals, co-founder and CEO. “The vision is rooted in this story: the experience of stepping inside her home and seeing her journey as an artist unfold. Each room inside The Still Austin Quarter captures a unique moment in her life and is a reflection of Still Austin’s creative vision, consistent devotion to craft and quality, and the community at the heart of it all.”

The Still Austin Quarter consists of four distinct spaces — the Atrium, the Vinyl Lounge, the Music Room, and a private event space — together welcoming approximately 500 guests across indoor and outdoor environments, including 125 outdoor seats. Conceived as a love letter to Austin and the fans who built the brand, The Still Austin Quarter is also poised to welcome visitors from across the country as a formidable national destination. Developed in collaboration with architect of record OPA Design Studio and interior design firm Weiss Architecture, the concept reflects the same quality, creativity, and authenticity that have defined Still Austin since its founding.

The cocktail program is the bedrock of the food & beverage experience at The Still Austin Quarter, drawing on Still Austin's own spirits as its foundation. The beverage lineup includes the full roster of Still Austin flagship spirits. Vice President Ken Kodys leads the cocktail program, rounding out the bar offerings with creative expressions such as an additive-free agave spirit imported and aged in Still Austin barrels. “Building this program was about approaching every decision with the same intentionality and quality that Still Austin has always brought to its spirits,” said Kodys. A collection of house-made aperitifs, amaros, herbal liqueurs crafted by the distilling team, and beer and wine options complete the program. Rotating library pours and limited-time offerings give every guest a reason to return and discover at every visit.

The food menu, developed by Still Austin's in-house hospitality team, features a curation of thoughtfully chosen dishes designed to complement the cocktail program, with more information to be announced soon.

The Music Room is the beating heart of The Still Austin Quarter: a world-class live music venue designed for intimate performances and special events, and home to The Musician's Stage. Live music has always been woven into Austin's identity, and The Musician’s Stage is Still Austin's most deliberate expression of that, built for music lovers. “In the life of every musician, there’s an exhilarating moment before stepping on stage where anything can happen. The Musician’s Stage is the manifestation of that moment: when the dream becomes real, and the song that once lived only in her imagination finally finds an audience,” said Seals. “It's a place where the show feels intimate, the sound is perfect, and every guest feels a connection with the artist — a connection that is deeply human.”

Engineered for exceptional sound by acoustician Steven Durr, whose portfolio spans over 2,000 recording and performance facilities worldwide, including for Willie Nelson, Austin City Limits, and the Library of Congress, the Music Room is built to deliver an unmatched listening experience. Live performances from premier local and national talent will take the stage Thursday through Saturday nights, while a live DJ commands the Vinyl Lounge nightly — making The Still Austin Quarter as much a destination for live entertainment as it is for food and drink.

Part of Still Austin's long-awaited expansion, The Still Austin Quarter is the front door to a broader footprint encompassing the existing distillery, tasting room, whiskey garden, and bottling line. The property is located at 4211 Willow Springs Road. The Still Austin Quarter is a gateway to discover The Yard, Elmo Arts' flagship property in Austin's St. Elmo District, and only 15 minutes from both downtown and Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

The Still Austin Quarter will be open during the following hours: Wednesday and Thursday from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., with food service ending one hour before close. The existing distillery tasting room will follow the same hours once open. Dedicated parking and valet service will be available on-site.
