Press Release

ST. LOUIS – StilL 630, the Midwest craft spirits distillery based in St. Louis, announces the launch of the Indomitable Spirit of America 250th Birthday Bourbon, an exclusive line of rare single-barrel, bottled-in-bond bourbons commemorating the United States’ semi quincentennial. This limited-edition series celebrates American craftsmanship and the spirit of determination that has defined the United States for over two centuries.

The celebration begins on Friday, January 2, 2026, with the first Indomitabile Spirit of America  250th Birthday Bourbon release, followed by additional releases on the first Friday of each month throughout 2026. Each release commemorates a key moment in America’s history,  featuring a removable, collectable gold coin engraved to represent the historic event. Every barrel represents a unique expression of StilL 630’s commitment to quality and tradition,  offering bourbon enthusiasts the opportunity to be part of this historic moment.

“As we prepare to celebrate 250 years of the American spirit, we wanted to create something truly special that honors our nation’s heritage while showcasing the artistry of American bourbon-making,” said David Weglarz, founder and distiller of StilL 630. “Each barrel in the  Indomitable Spirit of America 250th Birthday series is a celebration of craftsmanship, history,  and the pioneering spirit that defines both our country and our distillery.”

Honoring the Spirit of America: Monthly Release & Tasting Celebrations, Bourbon and craft spirits enthusiasts can join the StilL 630 team as they launch their first  Indomitable Spirit of America’s 250th Birthday Bourbon at a tasting party on Friday, January 2,  2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The special tasting reveal, hosted at the distillery at 1000  South Fourth Street in downtown St. Louis, will allow guests to sample and purchase bottles from the first barrel, honoring 1776 and the Declaration of Independence. Additionally, guests can enjoy a 1776-themed cocktail, sample the distillery’s other fine spirits, play trivia, and experience the special touches that make these bottles truly historic.

Savoring the Details

For the entire semi quincentennial, StilL 630 will host monthly release and tasting events on the first Friday of the month to debut that month’s barrel. Each monthly release will feature distinct characteristics reflective of StilL 630’s dedication to the art of bourbon making, with limited quantities ensuring exclusivity for collectors and connoisseurs. While the unique mash bill used for each release is the same, each batch will reveal the characteristics and aging flavors specific to its barrel.

In recognition of the national significance of this anniversary, StilL 630 is partnering with a regional distributor to make the first barrel release accessible to bourbon lovers outside of Missouri.
