Starlight, Indiana (June 2, 2026) — Starlight Distillery is proud to announce the release of its 10-Year Reserve Bourbon—a once in a decade expression that captures the soul of Southern Indiana’s agricultural heritage and distilling excellence.

Starlight Distillery’s 2026 10-Year Reserve Bourbon is a true reflection of patience, precision and family legacy.  Produced entirely grain-to-grass using grains grown and harvested on the Huber family estate, this limited release showcases the highest level of craftsmanship.

This ten-barrel blend was carefully selected from some of the oldest bourbon resting in our rickhouses, featuring both signature 3-grain and 4-grain mash bills built on rare heirloom corn and Indiana rye.  Sweet mash fermented and double pot distilled on our Vendome copper stills, each barrel was entered at low proof and aged slowly for a full decade to develop exceptional depth and character.  

Initially matured in the distillery’s original warehouse, these barrels were later transferred to Warehouse #2, West Side, the warmest pocket of our rickhouses.  This dynamic aging environment pushed the whiskey to its peak, intensifying body, oak integration, aromatic richness and layered complexity.  

Tasting notes include:

• Nose: Dark Caramel, toasted vanilla, charred oak, and ripe orchard fruit with warm baking spice
• Palate: Rich toffee, baked stone fruit, dark honey, and seasoned oak with remarkable depth and balance
• Finish: Long, elegant and powerfully structured with lingering oak spice, caramelized sugar, and velvety warmth

Hand selected by the Huber family- Ted, Blake and Christian, each barrel was bottled only when it reached absolute maturity.  Bottled at cask strength at 114.2 proof, this bourbon represents the highest expression of Starlight Distillery’s commitment to authenticity and world-class American whiskey.

“Every barrel reflects ten years of stewardship, patience and belief in the process.  Every decision was made with one goal: to create the finest bourbon Starlight Distillery could possibly produce,” said Christian Huber, 7th-generation distiller. “It’s not simply a 10-year bourbon, but a statement of legacy for our family.”

The bourbon will be available in limited capacity (approximately 2,000 bottles) starting June 20th, 2026 at Starlight Distillery (19816 Huber Road, Borden IN), in select markets and online.  To celebrate the release, Starlight will be hosting a public event on Saturday, June 20th starting at 10am where visitors can meet the makers and taste firsthand this once-in-a-decade expression.

Starlight Distillery recently earned top honors at the 2026 ASCOT Awards, with both its Bottled in Bond Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey and Mizunara Reserve receiving Double Platinum distinctions—an achievement that underscores the Indiana distillery’s commitment to craftsmanship, innovation, and quality. Judged by a panel of respected industry experts, the Double Platinum designation is awarded only to spirits that receive unanimous top marks, making it one of the competition’s highest accolades.
