J.P. Wiser’s
TORONTO (September 23, 2025) – As the Detroit Red Wings mark a century on the ice, fans have a special way to join the celebration with a commemorative team whisky bottle. J.P. Wiser’s, the Official Canadian Whisky of the Detroit Red Wings, is bringing back its limited-edition collectible bottle of award-winning 10-Year-Old Triple Barrel Whisky to celebrate 100 years of Hockeytown. The bottle will be widely available across Michigan and inside Little Caesars Arena throughout the 2025–26 NHL season.
First launched in November 2023 to celebrate the official partnership between J.P. Wiser’s and the Detroit Red Wings, the commemorative bottle has become a fan favorite, showcasing the team’s iconic branding and a tribute to The Legend of the Octopus. Now, with 100 years of Red Wings hockey to honor, the collectible bottle is once again hitting shelves as the ultimate keepsake for fans celebrating this milestone season. This centennial season, J.P. Wiser’s is inviting fans to raise their glass with Red Wings pride and join the tradition that unites Hockeytown.
“Hockeytown isn’t just a nickname — it’s a way of life. As the Red Wings celebrate 100 years on the ice, we’re proud to offer fans a whisky that reflects the same tradition and spirit,” said Nicolas Seguin, Director of export sales for J.P. Wiser’s. “Pairing our award-winning 10-Year-Old Canadian Whisky with a bottle design that celebrates the rich heritage and culture of this historic team is our way of giving Red Wings fans a collectible they can enjoy with friends or proudly display as part of their memorabilia.”
Crafted just across the river in Windsor, Ontario, J.P. Wiser’s 10-Year-Old is a hi-rye expression aged in three types of casks — New American oak, ex-bourbon, and used Canadian whisky barrels — and bottled at 80 proof. Smooth yet complex, the whisky delivers notes of caramel, honeycomb toffee, dried fruit, and rye spice, finishing with hints of green apple, pear, and allspice.
With more than 165 years of whisky-making tradition, J.P. Wiser’s is Canada’s oldest continuously produced whisky family and the second-largest Canadian whisky in its home country. Known for its award-winning quality, J.P. Wiser’s has become a fan favorite in both Canada and Michigan — especially now, as the official toast of Hockeytown.
The J.P. Wiser’s Detroit Red Wings Limited-Edition Bottle featuring 10-Year-Old Canadian Whisky retails for $24.99 MSRP and will be widely available across Michigan and inside Little Caesars Arena beginning with the Detroit Red Wings pre-season home opener on September 23.
