LEE, NH: On September 25th, 2022, Flag Hill will be launching its new whiskey with a highland games themed party. Along with the festivities, food and fun tunes, it will be the first chance to purchase the 4th bottle in Flag Hill’s whiskey lineup. The new whiskey will be available for sale in the Tasting Room and Store following it’s release at the party.

The category of American Single Malt is still young, however it has garnered a great deal of attention and excitement. Hearkening back to Scottish and Irish roots, Flag Hill’s American Single Malt is made from 100% malted barley. Mashed, fermented, distilled, and aged on their property in Lee, NH, it also nods to the American style of whiskey with the spirit aged in new charred American oak barrels for 6 years.

“We couldn't be happier with this whiskey.” Proclaims Flag Hill Owner and Distiller Brian Ferguson. “It is the best whiskey we've released to date and is pretty before, during, and after swallow. We're shocked it's this good at 6 years old. There are only 4 barrels in this release and there won't be more for a little while. Best to get one bottle for drinking and one bottle for a rainy day.”

This new whiskey also follows the guidelines of the American Single Malt Whiskey Commission, an organization dedicated to protecting and establishing the category. Flag Hill is open to the public 7 days a week for spirit and wine tastings, glasses of wine & spirit and snacks, and starting after the September 25th release party, a new American Single Malt Whiskey.
