Buzzard’s Roost Declares Bourbon Hunting Season Now Open

Nov. 14, 2024 –Louisville, Kentucky – To celebrate “Bourbon Hunting Season,” Buzzard’s Roost is launching its first giftpack and four exciting bundles of rare bottles for whiskey lovers who are on the hunt for rare flavor profiles and hard-to-find bottles. Below is a run-down of what is available on the Buzzard’s Roost bourbon-hunting trail.

The Char #1 Duo Gift Set: A boxed gift pack of two 375ml bottles of Buzzard’s Roost’s most popular whiskeys: Char #1 Bourbon and Char #1 Rye. ($75).

A Buzzard’s Roost first, this gift set is available at Whiskey Row and online and at retailers across the country.

-      Bourbon & Rye Hunters Bundle: $275 each (10 available; online only).This is a trio of unique bourbons including:

o  Kindred Collaboration Small Batch Bourbon– Created by Buzzard’s roost lead distiller Ethan Spalding and his dad Chad, along-time exec in the cooperage industry, this is a 5 YO bourbon finished in one of Buzzard’s Roost specially toasted barrels – that happens to also be a wave stave barrel.

o  Ambuzzadors Select Single Barrel Bourbon A panel of our most loyal fans, known as Ambuzzadors, met at Whiskey Row in August to taste and evaluate eight barrel samples. This is the one they loved the most. Initially available only to Ambuzzadors, we reserved10 bottles for this three-pack.

o  Peated Rye - This early release from Buzzard’s Roost offers a very subtle smoky/peppery note from cold-smoking barrels with real peat. -      Festival Pack: We’ve pulled 10 each of two specially selected single-barrel bourbons that were exclusively bottled for two of the most popular bourbon festivals: the Kentucky Bourbon Festival and New Orleans Bourbon Festival. $225 per 2-pack online only).

-      Toast the Season 3-Pack: With Toasted French Oak Bourbon currently sold out and not slated for re-release until 2025, this trio of bottles is for those who love toasted-barrel whiskies. Six are available for $260each (online only)
